How can you help a group come alive,  a high level of participation, and create an atmosphere where participants take creative risks and speak from the heart? This workshop offers best practices based on years of experience developing and leading highly successful creative programs for multicultural groups of youth and adults. Participants will learn:

• How groups form and what makes them tick
• Ways to engage the attention of a group
• How to relate to challenging participants
• Personal presentation skills
• Effective communication techniques
• Ways to create safety in a group
• How to develop effective workshops

In addition to the Creative Facilitation 2, in fall 2007 and spring 2008, we will also be offering the Heart of Facilitation.  This course is an intensive study of facilitation styles, techniques, tools along with work on the personal awareness and leadership skills needed to be an effective group facilitator.  This will run one weekend a month for five months alternating between Portland, OR and Seattle, WA.  Click here for more information.
