A VAN!  We're still driving the old beater.  We can actually use three vans, one for each office location: Bellingham, Victoria, Seattle.  In good working order, naturally!  :)

For youth programs year-round:

CAMPING GEAR:
Large family style camping tents
Sleeping bags - 'three season' bags for all-weather use
Sleeping pads (they go under sleeping bags)
Flashlights
Batteries
First Aid kits

ART SUPPLIES - you name it, we can probably use it!
DANCE SCARVES - wouldn't be Power of Hope without scarves!

Know any food suppliers?
At all of our programs, we want to feed our participants the best quality foods we can.  We also want to keep our programs low-cost.  For this reason, we have relationships with lots of food suppliers who donate cases of product for our programs.  Bulk 'staples' work great!

For offices that support our programs:
Computers - PCs capable of running Windows XP or Vista and with plenty of RAM
Laptop computer in good working order
Laser printer
Color photocopier
Digital camera
Office supplies

We are grateful to everyone who supports The Power of Hope as it allows us to offer more programming for youth and to make sure that no youth is turned away due to lack of funds. More than 65% of our youth receive some kind of scholarship and we work to keep our costs low so that programs are affordable and accessible to all youth.
