AmeriCorps members, Devon
Little and Jamie-Rose Rothenberg, recently began a seven week
after-school program and the Rotary Boys and Girls Club in
Downtown Seattle. They are offering intergenerational arts and
community building workshops for 6th-12th
graders. The workshops engage youth through a combination of
theatre, dance, creative writing, and visual arts activities.
The aim of the program is to create a safe space for youth to
express their authentic-selves, deepen relationships with one
another, and contribute positively to their community.
