MLK Youth Summit a Success!

Power of Hope Youth Voices coordinators Jamie Rose Rothenberg, Rebecca White and Jen Dickenson facilitated the Youth Summit for the Martin Luther King Jr. Conference on January 19^th that was sponsored by the Whatcom Human Rights Force Coalition.  Youth from all over Whatcom county and even as far as Seattle came to the conference for networking, community building and the celebration of the life work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.  The Youth Summit was designed to help youth become more engaged in the conference by introducing them to each other and to set the tone for the entire day.  Over thirty youth participated and many more attended the conference.
